6.19. Install Peak Plates

1. Install peak plates, spread evenly, in the peak plate holes on the rafter top undersides.

2. Use 1/2” x 1–1/4” grade 8 hex bolts (01915) and 1/2” flange nuts (90005043).

6.20. Install the Peak Ring Cross Member

1. Install the peak ring cross member to the plenum peak ring.

2. Use 1/2” x 1–1/4” grade 8 hex bolts (01915) and 1/2” flange nuts (90005043). (See

Figure 29

).

Note

If using a center post to install the roof peak ring and roof sheets, do not install the plenum peak
ring cross member at this time. Install it after the roof has been installed.
