Preparation: remove the belts, remove the alternator
8.5.3 Disassembling Steps
1.
Remove the hexagon bolt 5, remove water pump 4 and water pump gasket 6;
2.
Remove the stud 7 and stud 8.
3.
Remove the hexagon bolt 3, remove water pump pulley 1;

Remove stud 2.
8.5.4 Assembling Steps
The assembly should be conducted in the reverse order of disassembly.
8.5.5 Inspection and Maintenance
1.
Before assembly, first check the hexagon bolts, supporting block, water pump gasket and
water pump. Make sure there is no defect or damage on manufacturing or use.
2.
Clean the inner chamber on gear chamber connecting with the water pump.
3.
The assembly should be conducted in the reverse order of disassembly.
4.
Check if there is blockage or crack or any other kind of damage of pipe connector and pipe
connector subassembly. Replace if necessary.
5.
Check if there is thread scratch or any other kind of damage of any bolt, stud or nut. Replace if
necessary.
6.
Check if there is fracture or any other kind of damage of water pump. Replace if necessary.
