9.5.2 Pre-assembly Preparation

Equipment condition: sleeve wrench, copper hammer

Preparation: remove the oil pan, remove the oil strainer.

9.5.3 Disassembling Steps of Oil Pump

Loosen the hexagon flange face toothed bolts on the oil pump, and remove the oil pump and oil

pump gasket.

9.5.4 Overhaul of Oil Pump

Check if there is crack or any other damage of oil pump, and if the inner chamber is smooth. If

there is, it is necessary to replace oil pump.
