5.5.2 Pre-assembly Preparation
1.
Equipment condition: air wrench, sleeve
2.
Preparation: remove the peripheral parts of the exhaust manifold.
5.5.3 Disassembly steps of intake manifold
Disassemble the intake manifold with the reverse order of assembly.
5.5.4 Assembly steps of intake manifold
1.
Assemble the intake manifold gasket and intake manifold onto the cylinder head with hexagon
bolt.
2.
Assemble the pressure temperature sensor into the mix air intake pipe with hexagon.
3.
Assemble the gasket and mix air joint pipe onto the intake manifold.
5.5.5 Inspection and repair of intake manifold
1.
Check the intake manifold body for cracks and deformation; if any, replace with a new one.
2.
Check the intake manifold gasket for deformation, tear, absence or other defects; if any,
replace it.
3.
Check the intake heater for burnout or short circuit; if any, replace it.
