9.2.3 Disassembling Steps of Oil Sump
1.
Turn the engine, sending the oil sump stand upwards (Key point 1);
2.
Disassemble the oil sump fastening bolts (Key point 2);
3.
Disassemble the oil sump supporting block;
4.
Disassemble the oil sump and seal gasket;
5.
Disassemble the magnetic screw plug and composite washer.
9.2.4 Overhaul of Oil Sump
Key point 1:
Disassembly
Before disassembly of oil sump, presently drain up the oil. Put the vessel containing oil under the
oil sump oil-draining screw plug, and use a screw plug wrench to loosen the oil-draining screw
plug, finally discharge the oil.
Key point 2:
Assembly
Tighten up the oil sump fastening bolts in the order shown in the figure below;
Tightening torque
