Checking the Oil Burner Electrodes
Requirements
Machine shut down
Power disconnected
Burner cool
When to
inspect
Inspect the electrodes on your machine every two weeks or after every 50 hours of
operation. The condition of the electrodes will drastically affect your machine’s
ability to fire efficiently.
Procedure
Remove the burner assembly and inspect the condition of the electrode tips
(a)
.
Refer to the table below to determine the condition of the electrode tips.
The electrodes
should be replaced if they are worn or damaged. Contact your
Wacker Neuson dealer for replacement electrodes.
