Utility stitches

Using a pattern

Straight stitch with automatic reverse stitch – programs 03 and 04

Place the fabric under the presser foot. Lower the presser foot.

Hold the upper thread loosely and start sewing. The machine sews 4 to 5
stitches forwards, then 4 to 5 stitches backwards and then continues sewing
forwards.

When you have reached the end of the seam, press the Reverse button
once.

The machine sews a few stitches backwards and then a few stitches
forwards and then stops.

Press the Thread Cutter button.

NOTE:

If you press the Tie-off / Cut button before sewing starts, the machine

automatically cuts the threads at the end of the seam. (LCD display shows
symbol.)
