Maintenance to be carried out by the customer

Maintenance

Remove the needle plate by lifting the right side.

Lift out the bobbin holder (b).

c: Thread cutter

Clean the hook (d), feed dogs and bobbin holder. Clean with a soft, dry cloth.

Insert the bobbin holder back into the hook race so the tip (e) fits into the
stop (f) as shown.

Replace the needle plate, making sure that the nose (g) and holes (h) are
aligned correctly. Retighten the screws.
