Notes for operational safety
The machine has been carefully designed and is safe.
Nevertheless, hazards may arise from the machine.
•
If the machine is not used as intended.
•
If the machine is used for an improper application.
•
If the machine is operated under impermissible conditions.
For this reason, please take note of the instructions in the following
sections so that you can work safely and enjoyably.

Instructions for use
Please take note of the following points when handling the machine:
•
When unpacking, make sure that you choose a secure surface to unpack
the machine safely.
•
Keep animals and objects away from the area around the sewing
machine.
•
Always operate the machine on a sturdy, clean and level surface.
•
Keep children away from the machine.
•
Always keep animals and objects away from the area around the foot
controller.
•
Replace defective or damaged machine parts immediately. Only use
original parts!
•
Change the needles regularly. Worn or damaged needles pose a hazard.
•
Spare parts and tools must comply with the technical requirements laid
down by the manufacturer! This is only always guaranteed with original
spare parts.
•
Perform maintenance work in the manner described in this manual.
•
Observe the deadlines for recurring maintenance work.
•
Only rectify faults when the machine is switched off. Unplug the power
plug too.
•
Never change, dismantle or bypass safety devices.
