Sewing in zippers (centre / concealed)

Using a pattern

4.

Sew the right side of the zipper from the bottom.
Sew keeping a spacing of 0.7–1.0 cm from the seam.

5.

Sew over the bottom end and the right side of the zipper.
Remove the tacking threads and press it down.
Sew the right side in the same way.

PLEASE NOTE Accident prevention.

The zipper foot should only be used for sewing straight stitch with the centre
needle position. Before sewing, turn the hand wheel towards you and check that
the needle does not touch the presser foot. The needle could hit the presser foot
and break off when sewing other patterns or widths.

of the opening.
