Using the upper thread to pull up the lower thread
What do I do with the upper thread?
1.
Hold the upper thread taut in your left hand.
2.
Press the Needle Up / Needle Down button once.
The lower thread is pulled up.
3.
Pull the lower thread, which creates a loop, upwards by
pulling the upper thread up at a slight angle.
4.
Pull the upper and lower threads about 8 cm to the left.
It should be possible to pull both threads evenly and easily.
?
The threads cannot be pulled evenly and easily.
This is caused either by the spool unwinding badly or by
inferior quality thread.
➔
Turn the spool and invert it on the spool pin.
➔
Always place the spool in a horizontal (lying) position.
➔
Only use W6 thread.
5.
Close the hook race with the plastic bobbin cover.
The bobbin cover is in the correct position if it clicks into place when inserted.
