DANGER!
Never allow an open flame or electric sparks near the
battery or batteries. Never smoke in proximity to the
batteries. The batteries give off hydrogen gas during
charging which, when mixed with air, can form an
explosive gas. This gas is easily ignited and highly
volatile.
WARNING!
Battery electrolyte is a corrosive acid and should be
handled with care. If you spill or splash electrolyte on
any part of the body, immediately flush the exposed
area with liberal amounts of water and seek medical
attention as soon as possible.
NOTICE!
Marine batteries should always be mounted
in approved marine battery boxes with covers. Always
make sure the battery is secured and the cover is
firmly shut.
