Move the control lever to the neutral position.

Navigate to the upper level menu and press the
left

arrow buttons until you locate the
Neutral warm up
screen.

Press the
OK
button to change the neutral warm
up function to
On
in the screen. The gear shift is
now disengaged and you may throttle up to warm
up the engine.
4.
When you are done warming up the engine,
move the control lever back to the neutral posi-
tion to disengage the neutral warm up function.
The gear shift may now be engaged for normal
operation of the engine and drive.
Tow Mode
Tow mode is a simple speed (engine RPM) control function that helps maintain a steady acceleration and a
constant velocity when wake boarding or water skiing.
NOTICE!
Tow Mode is only applicable for single engine installations with a single helm.
NOTICE!
Tow Mode cannot be used via the 7” Color Display.

Navigate to the upper level EVC menu. At this
level, navigate until you locate the
Tow mode
screen.
3.
To enter the tow mode function, press the
OK
button (2.5” display) or the selection wheel (EVC
control panel).

To activate tow mode, press
OK
or press the
selection wheel. The screen display will change
from
Off
to
On
. Tow mode is now engaged.
You may set the speed to your desired maximum
engine RPMs. When you move the control lever
to full throttle, the boat will steadily accelerate to
your desired maximum speed and maintain a
constant velocity. You may make minor adjust-
ments (in 50 RPM increments) by pressing the
left
<
and right
>
arrows or by spinning the selec-
tion wheel.
4.
To deactivate tow mode, simply return the con-
trol lever to neutral, then press
OK
or press the
selection wheel. The screen display will change
from
On
to
Off
.
NOTICE!
If at any time Tow Mode appears to be functioning irregularly, it may be reset by shutting off the engine.
Upon engine restart, Tow Mode will have been reset. If any problems persist, please contact an authorized Volvo
Penta dealer.
