Setting the temperature unit
The temperatures measured by the internal and external sensor can be displayed in Celsius (°C, degrees Celsius) or
Fahrenheit (°F, degrees Fahrenheit).
Displaying the battery and charger temperature
This feature displays the external battery temperature and the internal charger temperature.
The external temperature can only be displayed when an external temperature sensor is connected to the
charger (not included, available as an accessory).
Setting the pause duration between charge/discharge cycles
The battery will warm up during the charging process (depending on the charging current). In cycle mode, you can set
the charger to pause between charging and discharging to allow the charger to cool down.
Setting the voltage for Delta-V detection (only for NiMH or NiCd batteries)
The charger uses Delta-V control for NiMH and NiCd batteries to detect when the battery is fully charged. The voltage
setting can be changed (in mV per cell).
If the voltage setting is too high, the charger may not detect that the battery is fully charged. In this case, the
protective circuit for the charging time or maximum capacity is normally activated (if configured correctly).
If the voltage setting is too low, the charger will turn off before the battery is fully charged.
Change the voltage step-by-step and monitor the charging process. Due to the large variety of different
batteries, it is not possible to recommend an optimal setting.
