Pressing a scanner button scans the item and sends the image to the
Destination Application associated with the current LED function number.
Each function’s scan settings are determined by the selected settings show in
the OneTouch Properties window.
1.
Load a stack of documents
face up
in the ADF or place a single page
face down
on the flatbed glass.
2.
Use the button selector arrows to change to the LED function you want to
use to scan.
3.
Press either the Simplex or Duplex button on the scanner to initiate the
scan.
To scan a single-side document from the ADF press the
Simplex
button.
To scan a double-side document from the ADF press the
Duplex
button.
When scanning from the Flatbed, pressing the Simplex or Duplex button
simply initiates a scan. Only the face down side of the page is scanned.
4.
A scan progress window opens and the image is sent to the selected
application in the OneTouch software.
