Component Video Connections: 

The VDP-80-720 has four, YPrPb component inputs for 

connecting a DVD player or DTV decoder with a component output. Connect such devices to 
Inputs 3, 4, 7 and/or 8; see Figure 3-4. 

Inputs 3 and 4 accept either SD or HD signals; Inputs 7 and 8 accept SD signals only.
