4. POWER BUTTON
Press this button to toggle between normal, “power on” mode and standby mode. (The
VDP-80-720 takes about 8 to 10 seconds to enter standby mode.)
5. RS-232 CONTROL (9-pin, male D-Sub)
A male, 9-pin D-sub connector for interfacing with a PC or home theater
automation/control system.
6. POWER INPUT (+5 VDC)
Connect the VDP-80-720 to power here, using the included power adapter.
7. ANALOG OUTPUT (RGBHV, 5 x BNC)
Connect this to the RGB video input of your display device.
8. DIGITAL OUTPUT (DVI-D)
Connect this to the DVI or HDMI input of your display device.
9. DIGITAL INPUT 1
DIGITAL INPUT 2 (DVI-D)
HDCP-compliant digital video inputs for connecting a DVD player, personal computer or
HD tuner with a DVI or HDMI output.
10. SD/HD/RGB INPUT 3
SD/HD/RGB INPUT 4
Standard-definition (480i/576i) or high-definition (720p/1080i), YPrPb component
inputs for connecting a DVD player or high-definition TV source.
These inputs also accept the green, red and blue lines of an analog RGB signal.

Standard, Composite video or S-Video inputs for connecting a DVD player, satellite
receiver, camcorder, laser disc player or Super VHS (S-VHS) VCR.

Standard-definition Component, Composite or S-Video inputs for connecting a DVD
player, satellite receiver, camcorder, laser disc player or Super VHS (S-VHS) VCR.
13. SDI INPUT 9
SDI INPUT 10
Two Serial Digital Interface (SDI) inputs for connecting a DVD player or other SDI-capable
device.
For best results, do not run your DVD player in progressive mode.
When using Input 3 with an RGB source, connect the horizontal and
vertical sync lines to Input 5. Similarly connect the horizontal and vertical
sync lines to Input 6 when using Input 4 with an RGB source.
