Inputs 1 through 4 have four image memories. These are ISF Night (MEM A), ISF Day
(MEMB), Memory C (MEMC) and Memory D (MEMD). Inputs 5 through 10 have two image
memories. You can use these memories to store up to four independent configurations,
such as for day (bright room) and night (dark room).
For example, you can set the black level (brightness) higher for viewing in a bright room
than for viewing in a darkened room. To do this:
1. Press
ISF Night
on the remote control.
2. Calibrate the input (refer to
Picture Adjust
on page 27) for night time conditions (little
or no ambient light).
3. Save the settings.
4. Use the input copy command to copy the setup to MEMB.
5. Press
ISF Day
on the remote control.
6. Increase the brightness as needed.
7. Save the settings and exit the menu system.
Shelf Installation or Rack
Mounting
Place the Vidikron VDP-80 Digital Video Processor on a component shelf. Or, use the
mounting ears supplied with the VDP-80-720 to mount it in an equipment rack.
