The Use start switch property is used only in combination with a system 
telephone to start recording the call when the system telephone closes or 
opens the switch. 

•

 Press 

NEXT

 to save and move on to the next menu item. 

In case the Start switch is enabled you will be prompted to set a Start period.  

The Startswitch is connected to the serial port of the PTAM. Please contact 
your supplier for details. 

The Foot switch and Start switch use the same connector at the back of the 
PTAM. Therefore these two properties cannot be used at the same time! 

7.2.9 Playback 

volume 

The display will show: 

Playback volume:        3 
NEXT      CHANGE      BACK 

Set the Playback volume

 to change the Playback volume. 

The Playback volume determines the volume of the Playback. 
Select a value between 1 and 8.
