6.1.2 FTP active
FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. This is the protocol used by the PTAM
to communicate over the network. This is a widely used protocol that is also
being used for internet.

• Press CHANGE to enable FTP.

6.1.3 FTP user
The Ftp user is user name of the PTAM. It is used by the Archive software to
log on to the PTAM.
FTP user: 0000

Set the Ftp user name

Press CHANGE to change the Ftp user name.
FTP user: ▓
CANCEL
Enter the Ftp user name
Use the numerical keys to enter the Ftp user name. Use the to switch
between upper case and lower case characters.
• Press STORE to save the Ftp user name.

Press NEXT to save and move on to the next menu item.
6.1.4 FTP password
The Ftp password of the PTAM is the password that goes with the FTP user
name of the PTAM. It is used by the Archive software to log on to the PTAM.
