The Recording quality determines the quality of the recording. The quality of
the recording reflects in the size of the recorded file. Better quality generates a
bigger file. Standard is Digitalk which represents a good balance between
recording quality and file size.

The Recording quality has a direct effect on the E-mail function of the PTAM.
The format of the mailed messages is determined by the Recording quality.
The standard Digitalk recording quality requires the CRF Player software on
the PC to be able to play the messages. To have messages recorded in a
format that can be played on any regular PC set the Recording quality to
G.711A. Remember though that the size of a G,711A file is up to 8 times
larger than your standard Digitalk file!
