INSTALLATION OF THE STYLE AB6 BRACKET
ASSEMBLY
CAUTION
• The hole cut into the ceiling or wall shall be deburred on both sides.
Failure to follow this instruction could cause sprinkler assembly leakage, resulting
in property damage.
NOTICE
• The following photos depict an installation in a freezer application where the
Style AB6 Bracket Assembly is installed through the ceiling; however, the
installation steps in this section can be applied to any installation orientation.
1. Drill a hole into the ceiling or wall of
the freezer. Use a 2-inch hole saw for V36
and V40 Dry Sprinklers and a 2
5/8-
inch
hole saw for V33 Dry Sprinklers.
THE
HOLE SHALL BE DEBURRED ON BOTH
SIDES OF THE CEILING OR WALL.
2. Insert the V33, V36, or V40 Dry Sprinkler with integral Style AB6 Bracket Assembly into
the hole that was drilled in the freezer ceiling or wall.

Using the tool provided, push down on the sleeve or collar just until the sleeve or collar
is retained on the barrel.
