Performing Pass/Fail tests and working with saved test results
Requirements for Pass/Fail tests
Requirements for Pass/Fail tests
Pass/Fail tests inspect fiber connectors against preconfigured pass criteria for the active analysis profile. You can
start a Pass/Fail test from either FiberChekPRO or, if available, the onboard controls on the FVAm microscope.
Notes:
•
A Pass or Fail result applies to the entire connector. If only one fiber in the array fails to meet the preconfig-
ured pass criteria, the test will return a Fail result for the entire connector. To achieve a Pass result, every fiber
in the array must meet the pass criteria.
•
For information about viewing the pass criteria for analysis profiles, refer to the
FiberChekPRO Automated
Fiber Inspection and Analysis Software User Manual
, which you can access from the FiberChekPRO
Help
menu.
•
For information about using the touchscreen and onboard controls, see
“Touchscreen display module and
onboard controls” on page 2-12
.
