Speaker

The

SPEAKER

key lets you switch between using the handset and using hands-free mode during

a call. It also will terminate a call while in hands free mode.

Using the Speaker Feature [S] / [D]

SIP PHONES

To toggle between the speaker and your handset during a call

Press

(

on models 9112i and 9133i).

Note:

If you have a headset plugged into the phone, this action will then only toggle between

the headset and the handset. The speaker will not be available until you unplug the headset. Also
see “Headset” on page 3-34.

DIGITAL PHONES

To switch from the handset to hands-free mode during a call

Press

SPEAKER

and hang up the handset.

To switch from hands-free mode to the handset during a call

Pick up the handset.
