Insert the Carrier Module with the MTT module inside the slot.
Insert the FAT32 USB memory stick containing the software package into one of the USB ports.
Turn the RXT-1200
ON.
Go to
>Utilities >M.Upgrade.
Once the upgrade image is recognized, confirm the versions and tap on the
Upgrade
button.
The firmware update starts.
It will turn itself off when finished.
MTT Auto-Update:
If an older MTT module is inserted into an updated RXT-Carrier, the RXT may start the MTT firmware upgrade process.
A message will be presented on the screen indicating the version discrepancy.
Press
Yes
to update the MTT module’s firmware.
This process doesn’t require the USB memory stick.
MTT modules updated to work with the new RXT-1200 may no longer be fully compatible with older SunSet MTT chassis or RxT-
1000 platforms
