Safety valve (5)
The safety valve opens and releases water if the boiler’s water pressure exceeds 2.5 bar. The water is
collected in the drain water tank. The safety valve closes automatically when the water pressure drops
below approx. 2 bar.
Pressure gauge (6)
The pressure gauge shows the water pressure in the boiler. For the recommended pressure, refer to the
installation information on page 4.
Design label (11)
The rating plate shows the boiler’s type and serial number. Always provide the information on the rating
plate when contacting your installation engineer.
Outdoor sensor (17)
The outdoor sensor measures and sends information about the outdoor temperature
to the boiler.
Overheating protection (3)
The overheating protection is a mechanical safety feature that is triggered if the boiler temperature
exceeds 80°C. If the overheating protection is triggered, you will need to reset it manually. Read more
about resetting the overheating protection on page 12.
2.4.
Functions and settings
Do not turn off the boiler if you are taking it out of operation. Instead,
activate the ECO function. If you turn off the boiler completely, the
circulation pump may seize and may need to be replaced. Read more
about the ECO function on pages 9-10.

Display
The display shows the status of the boiler and provides you with access to the boiler’s menus. The
appearance of the display may differ depending on how the boiler is set up.
