Bypass valve (14)
Using the bypass valve, the installation engineer can shut off the circulation in the pipe system. The
bypass valve can also act as a safety feature that allows circulation inside the boiler in the event of a
blockage in the pipe system.
Display (21)
The display is located on the control panel. The display shows the status of the boiler and provides you
with access to the boiler’s menus. Read more about menus and settings on pages 8-11.
Expansion tank (8)
As the temperature in the system increases, the water volume expands and the pressure increases. The
expansion tank absorbs the volume changes up to 2.5 bar. After that, the safety valve is triggered.
Optional remote control (19)
With remote control, you can regulate the desired room temperature remotely
via a computer, mobile phone or tablet.
Indicator lights (20)
The boiler’s display has three indicator lights: one green, one yellow and one red. Read more about the
functions of the indicator lights on pages 16-17.
Buttons (23)
Buttons for navigating the boiler’s menus.
Button function (22)
The buttons have different functions in different menus. The button function box
on the display shows the button’s function in the menu you have selected.
Cover (15)
The cover protects the boiler from contaminants. The cover must always be mounted on the boiler,
except during maintenance and when changing settings.
Locking mechanism (16)
The locking mechanism holds the cover in place and makes it easier to install the cover.
Control panel (1)
In the control panel, you can see the status of the boiler and change the boiler’s settings. To read more
about boiler’s settings, see pages 8-11.
Boiler tank and immersion heater (10)
The immersion heater in the boiler tank heats the water in the boiler.
Optional room unit (18)
The room unit measures the indoor temperature so that the boiler can maintain the desired temperature
as efficiently as possible. You can increase and decrease the room temperature and see if any alarms
have been triggered directly on the room unit. The room unit is not included in the boiler’s standard
equipment. Contact your installation engineer if you would like to supplement your boiler with a room
unit.
Drain water tank (7)
The drain water tank collects any waste water from the safety valve.
Power switch (2)
Use the power switch to turn off or start up the boiler.
Do not turn off the boiler if you are taking it out of operation. Instead,
activate the ECO function. If you turn off the boiler completely, moving
parts in the circulation pump may seize and the pump may need
to be replaced. Read more about the ECO function on pages 9-10.
