Adapt the size of the pipe system
The built-in expansion tank in the boiler is dimensioned to fit most normal installations, but may need to
be expanded.
The size of heating system that the boiler’s expansion tank can cope with is affected by the volume of
liquid in the system, the operation and static pressure of the heating system,
as well as the max. and min. liquid temperatures.

3.2.5.
Fill with water and adjust the pressure
•
Always check that the expansion tank has sufficient volume.
•
Check that the pre-charge pressure in the expansion tank is set correctly.
•
Check that the bypass valve is correctly adjusted.
Adjust the pre-charge pressure in the expansion tank
If the expansion tank is too small or if the pre-charge pressure is
incorrect, the safety valve will open and/or create negative pressure in
the system. If air is drawn into the system, it can give rise
to corrosion and malfunctions.
