8. Lift the spectrometer tube up and off of the tray and lay it down on a clean

non-magnetic surface.

CAUTION

If the spectrometer tube magnet comes in contact with a
magnetic surface, it may become de-magnetized causing the
spectrometer tube to lose sensitivity.

CAUTION

Do not remove the 6 magnet body bracket screws
