How to Eliminate False Triggers
False Triggers
will cause a lot of
issues
with the
Inspection System
and the
Sensor’s Data
that is collected. A
False Trigger
occurs when the ‘
Photo-eye / Scanner’
is
triggered
by
scrap
or flying debris
. For the CGS Sensor, it is recommended to have the trigger ‘
after / behind
’ the
sensor to better filter out triggers due to scrap. We can also
filter
out
these triggers
using the
‘
Minimum Product Length
’ setting for each sensor channel.
Here is how to configure the ‘
Minimum Product Length
’ setting:
1. Navigate to the
‘Inspection Window’
by pressing the button labeled ‘
INSPECT
’.
