Given the standard I/O board compilation on the VACON
®
100 AC drive, there are 6 digital inputs
available (Slot A terminals 8, 9, 10, 14, 15 and 16). In the programming view, these inputs are re-
ferred to as follows:
In the example Figure 27, the function
External fault close
located in menu M3.5.1 as parameter
P3.5.1.11, is by default given the value
DigIN SlotA.3
(graphical keypad) or
dI A.3
(text keypad). This
means that the function
External fault close
is now controlled with a digital signal to digital input
DI3 (terminal 10).
This is what is shown in the parameter list.
Assume you need to change the selected input. Instead of DI3 you wish to use DI6 (terminal 16) on
the standard I/O. Do as instructed here:
