- with flange for connecting cardan shaft with rear
output.
Output shaft speed of the power take-off is equal
to 0.946 of engine crankshaft speed.
Take-off power is 22 kW (30 h.p.), maximum.
Power take-off during truck traveling is not
allowed.
Auxiliary power take-off *
2
Mechanical, air-actuated, engaged via sliding
coupling from the transfer box primary shaft. En-
suring up to 40 % take-off of engine maximum
output. Power take-off is allowed during traveling
with appropriate reduction of traction-and-
dynamic properties. The sense of rotation of the
auxiliary power take-off shaft is coincident with
that of the gearbox output shaft.
Winch*
1
Drum-type, with worm reduction gear and band
brake driven via cardan shaft from the auxiliary
power take-off. Rope working length 60 m, rope
dia. 17.5 mm. Rope reversing is possible. Pulling
power on the third rope winding layer 70 kN (7 tf),
on the first layer 100 kN (10 tf)
Tackle block*
1
Rope-type, single-groove
Tire pressure control sys-
tem
Ensuring tire air pressure control by means of the
valve available in driver's cab.

Optional. The truck can be completed with transfer box and power take-
off enabling up to 100 % take-off of engine maximum output.

Overall dimensions of the truck are shown in Figs 5-9. Dimensions marked
with an asterisk refer to trucks powered with the YAMZ-236M2 engine; those
with two asterisks denote a minimum permissible distance of body parts to the
driver’s cab or the upper flange of truck frame side-member in the wheel zone.
Appendices 1-9 contain reference data needed in servicing the trucks, while Ap-
pendix 10 contains additions relating to truck’s design.
