Change Parameters for Schedules 1 through 7
If Schedule Protection is switched to OFF, any schedule can be changed when the PM6 is placed in the
PROGRAM State.
Press [PROGRAM], one of the numeric fields should start flashing. Use [
?
/
?
] to select the SCHEDULE
NUMBER Field. Press [
?
/
?
] to select the Schedule Number. Then use [
?
/
?
] to select the field you wish to
change. Use [
?
/
?
] to increase or decrease the value of that field.
After the appropriate parameters have been selected, there are two options:
a Press [SAVE] and
save
all of the parameters, in the PM6's permanent memory, as the Schedule Number
which is displayed and automatically return to the Run State.

b Press [RUN] and transfer all of the parameters to Schedule 0, in the PM6's temporary memory, and
automatically return to the Run State.
In the RUN State none of the numeric fields will be flashing. A weld can be made with the modified schedule.
For example:
Press [PROGRAM].
Use [
?
/
?
] to select Schedule 1. Write down the parameters for Schedule 1.
Now use [
?
/
?
] to move to %CURRENT. Use [
?
/
?
] to select 86%.
Press [RUN].
The information which was displayed as Schedule 1 has been transferred to
Schedule 0 and the PM6 is in the RUN State, ready to make a weld.
Use [
?
/
?
] to select SCHEDULE 1. Notice that the parameters for Schedule 1 are
as they were before the %CURRENT was changed.
Press [PROGRAM]. Use [
?
/
?
] to select 90% CURRENT.
Press [SAVE].
Since Schedule 1 was "saved," the %CURRENT has been modified to 90% and Schedule 1 was
saved in the PM6's permanent memory.
Notice that the information was not transferred to Schedule 0 because [RUN] was not pressed.
