The brightest guide laser beam spot reflected from
the mirrors may not always belong to the direct (funda-
mental) aiming beam. To determine which spot belongs to
the true direct aiming beam, rather than a ghost beam,
check the burn pattern at the entrance to the input focusing

as previously de-
scribed in this chapter).
