9. TRANSPORT, HANDLING AND KEEPING IN SHELTER OF THE
SOWING MACHINE
9. 1. TRANSPORT
1. Manufacturer of the machine specifies conditions of the machine transport, if it
is not agreed otherwise between the manufacturer and a purchaser.
2. Purchaser, in agreement with the machine manufacturer, specifies the date of
the machine delivery.
3. Seller / importer is liable for the machine packaging.
4. The machine manufacturer is liable for the loading of the machine.
5. Shipping company is liable for the machine during transport.
9.1.1. STRICT SAFETY REGULATIONS DURING THE
MACHINE TRANSPORT
1. The machine can be lifted only with the use of specially-marked places.
2. Make sure that the lifting machine has a proper load capacity and no risk exists
concerning possible capsizing of the machine being lifted.
3. Only approved cables, chains or belts must be used for the machine lifting.
4. The machine cannot be directly hooked with a crane hook - only approved
chains, cables or belts must be used.
5. During the machine lifting or turning – make sure that the cables, chains or belts
are taut so that swinging effect can be eliminated, which may result in people’s
accident.
6. Make sure that the lifting direction is correct and all possible obstacles are
removed.
7. Make sure that the machine is properly fastened when transporting on a
platform, trailer, etc.
9.2. HANDLING
1.
The sowing machine must be handled as it is in case of each other agriculture
machine and equipment.
2.
Do not place any objects on the sowing machine.
9.3. KEEPING IN SHELTER AND CLEANING
- The machine must not be kept under conditions where it is exposed to direct
sunlight and it must be protected in such a way that rain or snow does not get inside
the container.
- The machine can be kept for a longer period of time only in roofed places
where good ventilation is ensured.
- When keeping the machine in unroofed places, make sure that at least ones a
month the service elements of the machine are lubricated and greased.
- The machine must be kept only in working position, and all the working
assemblies must be lowered onto the ground to ensure good stability of the machine.
