10.2.9.
SOWING OF SMALL AND LARGE SEEDS.
The sowing wheels 1 and 2 are coupled with each other be means of a movable
drive 3 (Figure 19). The position of the drive can be set with the use of a pusher 5,
through using the hole in the sowing wheel 1. When sowing grain seeds the two
sowing wheels are rotating together. In case of each sowing wheel sets it is required
to set the position of a pusher as it is shown on the Figure A.
When small seeds are sown it is required to separate the two wheels (only one wheel
1 is used for sowing). In case of each set of sowing wheels it is required to set the
position of the drive as it is shown on the Figure B.

IMPORTANT!
In order to separate the two sowing wheels the sowing shaft 7 should be
positioned in such a way that the sowing device cover does not obstruct the hole in
the sowing wheels.
The sowing machine can be adjusted to sowing of very large (thick) seeds such as:
butter bean. It can be done with the use of special wheels for sowing large (thick)
seeds type A for the round shaft – catalogue number: 3043/00-050/0, which can be
purchased either in the retail outlet or on delivery. In case that the sowing machine is
equipped with a sowing hexagon shaft for sowing large (thick) seeds Type A, the
