The Remote Control

The 

Remote Control

 allows you to simulate the behavior of your project's titles 

and menus. Use the buttons available on the Remote Control to preview your 
menus, titles, and subtitle and audio tracks (DVD). The available buttons on the 
Remote Control will depend on the type of media (DVD, VCD, or SVCD) you are 
working on. 

Remote Control buttons

Title number

 (DVD)

 

Displays the title number of the currently selected title.

Chapter

/

Track number

 Shows the chapter number of the currently selected 

title.

Timecode

 Displays how many hours/minutes/seconds into the clip the current 

frame in the 

Preview Window

 appears.

Play

/

Pause

 Toggles between playing back your project and temporarily stop-

ping the playback of your title.

Stop

 Ends project playback.

Go to Previous Menu

 Goes to the previous menu.

Go to Next Menu

 Goes to the next menu.

Direction buttons

 (DVD) Use it to navigate through a menu page in your DVD 

project.

Enter

 (DVD) Activates the selected button.

Go to Menu

 (DVD) Goes to the last visited menu of your DVD project.

Go to Top Menu

 (DVD) Goes to the first menu of your DVD project.

Digit buttons and Return

 (VCD/SVCD) Click a number to play a title assigned 

to that number. Click 

Return

 to go back to the last visited menu page.
