16. TRANSFORMER UNIT
The transformer unit contains:
• Mains receptacle with line filter
• Main switch
• Line selector (115 or 230 V)
• Ring core transformer
• Mounting plate
All parts are fitted on the mounting plate, which is fitted to the rear
plate by means of two #T20 Torx screws and to the printer's centre-
line wall with one #T20 Torx screw. The mains receptacle, the main
switch and the line selector are accessible through slots in the rear
plate.
The transformer unit is connected to P-300 on the CPU board via
a single cable.
The cables of the transformer unit are permanently affixed to either
the transformer unit or the mains receptacle.
CAUTION!
The transformer unit contains wires and components with dangerous
voltage 115/230 V! Always remove the power cord before touching the
transformer unit.
