Directions for use Garden Power RC1
Remote Control Set / Remote Control Socket
You have selected the set, consisting of outdoor plug + remote control or the outdoor plug
separately.
What is involved is an outdoor plug socket which can be controlled with the relevant remote control
(included in the set, see above). It is also possible to add further plug sockets. Up to 16 plug sockets
can be controlled simultaneously with one remote control.
Remote control
1. The remote control is supplied over a battery 23A /12V (not included in the scope of delivery).
2. Open the battery compartment on the rear side of the remote control, insert the
23A / 12V battery and close the compartment again.
Outdoor plug socket with receiver
1. Insert the plug into any 230V / 50Hz standard plug socket, as indicated on the rear side of the
plug.
2. Press the ON/OFF key on the plug socket for approx. 2 - 3 seconds.
3. If you wish to operate device No. 1 using the switch No. 1, proceed as follows:
a) Switch on the remote control
b) Press the ON/OFF switch for 1 - 2 seconds for the adjustment setting
c) Now you can operate device No. 1 using the switch No. 1 and, in order to switch on the
device, now press the ON key for 1 - 2 seconds
d) For switching off, press the OFF key
5. For every further device, proceed according to the same procedure.
6. Over you can operate up to 16 devices with the remote control using the slide switches
(I - IV) and the keys 1 - 4.
7. If you should forget the allocation of the remote control, switch off the device and the plug
socket and do a reset in accordance with Steps 2 - 4
CAUTION!
Before coding the remote control, always pull out all device plugs first!
The range of the remote control can be reduced through walls and ceilings.

1. Insert the plug into any standard socket, 230V/50 Hz, as described on the rear of the plug.
2. Press the ON/OFF button on the socket und keep it pressed during the following steps.
3. If you want to operate your device number 1 via the button 1, proceed as follows:
a)Switch on the remote control with button 1/ON. A red light will appear on the socket.
b)Press button 1/OFF (clicking sound) to switch off. The red light on the socket goes out. Your device
number 1 is now adjusted.
4. Let go of the button on the socket.
