The
ColourScale
on an SDI card should be set to AUTO. This will correctly adjust the
YUV colorspace depending on the output resolution.

9.7 Aspect Ratio Control
The aspect ratio for the input source and the output display are controlled and set
separately. The unit performs the correct conversion, depending on which input is
connected to which output.
To set the input aspect ratio using the command line, the command is
AspectChoice
.
Permitted values are 4:3, 5:3, 5:4, 16:9 and 16:10, with 4:3 the default setting.
An example command is:
slots.slot1.in1.AspectChoice = 16:9
Similarly, the output needs to be set for the display aspect ratio:
slots.slot13.out1.Aspectchoice = 5:4
When the CORIOmatrix connects an input to an output, it looks at the AspectChoice
values for each and if they are not the same, the unit will shrink either vertically or
horizontally in order to maintain the input aspect ratio on the output display.
