Taking photographs
Follow the instructions given below to take photographs using the Trust 750 LCD
PowerC@m Zoom.
1.
Turn the camera on by sliding the ON/OFF button (2, figure 1) open.
2.
Set the camera to the photo mode ( ) using button 3 (see figure 2).

Depending on the distance to the object to be photographed, use button 7
(see figure 1) to adjust the distance. Select the flower symbol ( ) if you wish
to take a close-up photograph (20-25 cm). If you wish to take photographs of
the surroundings or of people (30 cm to infinity), set the macro switch to the
Normal mode (
).

If you are not sure whether there is enough light, turn the automatic flash on
by pressing button 9 (see figure 2). Press this button again if you wish to
avoid the red-eye effect. Press the button again to turn the flash off.

Use the LCD screen (1, figure 2) to direct the camera at the object you wish to
photograph.
6.
Press the exposure button (4, figure 1) to take a photograph. The busy
indicator (4, figure 2) will be lit red. Hold the camera as still as possible
directed towards the object you wish to photograph whilst the busy indicator is
lit.
7.
The LCD screen will then return to the normal display. You can now direct the
camera at the next subject and take more photographs.
Note:
If you take photographs with the default camera settings, it is
possible that the quality of the photographs will not always be
optimal. Different surroundings produce different results. Adjust
the camera settings as required. See chapters 5.1 and table 3 for
the possible options.

Zoom in and out
The camera can zoom in on the object to be photographed up to 4 times the size in
10 steps.
1.
Carry out points 1 to 5 in chapter 6.4.
2.
Zoom in by pressing the menu button’s up arrow button (7, figure 2). A bar will
appear on the left-hand side of the display. T is maximum zoom. W is normal
view.
3.
You can zoom out by pressing the down arrow button.
4.
Press the exposure button (4, figure 1) once you have found the desired
setting.

Stand
You can use the stand to hold the camera still when, for example, using the
automatic exposure button to take a detailed photograph without moving the camera.
You can also use the stand when you use the camera as a webcam for
videoconferencing.
1.
Screw the stand into place on the bottom of the camera.
2.
Unfold the feet, unlock the stand using the handle and place the camera in
the desired position.
3.
Lock the stand by placing the handle back in the starting position.
