8 Operating Modes 

 
 
Two operating modes are supported by the measuring system: 

●  Synchronous 
●  Distributed Clocks 

 
 
 
In  "Synchronous"  operating  mode,  the  process  data  is  output  synchronously  to  the 
EtherCAT bus cycle time. 
 
 
In "Distributed Clocks" operating mode, the process data is output synchronously to a 
self-defined  time.  The  relevant  settings  are  made  in  the  EtherCAT  master.  By  the 
measuring system the synchronization signals "SYNC0" and "SYNC1" are supported.
