Procedure 2

Battery Indicator Check

When the AC adapter is connected to a live wall outlet and the T2200SX, the LED indicator labeled

Battery

will light red. If the AC adapter’s output voltage is abnormal or the power supply board is

malfunctioning, the

Battery

indicator flashes red.

If the

Battery

indicator blinks red or does not glow when connecting the AC adapter to the com-

puter, perform the following checks.

Check 1

Unplug the AC adapter from the wall outlet and the computer, then remove the
battery pack.

Plug the AC adapter into the computer, and then into the wall outlet. Power on the
computer.

If the problem still exists, perform Check 2.

Check 2

The AC adapter may be damaged. Replace it with a new AC adapter. If the problem
still exists, perform Procedure 3.
