Installing the Drum Drive Assembly

1. Park the machine on a level surface. Ensure that the engine is OFF. Remove

the spark plug wire from the engine spark plug.

2. Position the LH and RH drum drive gear box assembly (item 8 in

Figure 28

)

and traction drum (2) onto the frame assembly (9).

3. Secure the LH and RH drum drive gear box assembly (8) to the traction drum

(2); refer to

Installing the Drum Drive Gear Box Assembly (page 5–16)

.

4. Attach the spark plug wire to the spark plug.
