Use the following procedure to replace the thermistor. 

Equipment required: 

Wrench 

1.

 

Turn instrument OFF, unplug power cord, and remove the cover 
(

Figure 2–1

). 

2.

 

Unplug the thermistor from the photometer DMC board. 

3.

 

Using a wrench, unfasten 1/4 hex nut. 

4.

 

Pull outward and replace. 

5.

 

Reassemble in reverse order.
