Factory default configurations for contacting conductivity / resistivity sensor heads are:
•
Units of measure:
µS/cm
(options include %, ppm and
M
Ω
·
cm)
•
Units for temperature:
°C
(options include °F)
•
Sensor Filter:
1 Second
(options include 0 to 100 seconds in 1 second increments)
•
Temperature Filter:
1 Second
(options include 0 to 100 seconds in 1 second increments)
•
Cell Constant:
1.0
for Conductivity electrodes,
0.1
for Resistivity electrodes
•
Reference Temperature:
25°C
(options include 0°C to 100°C)
•
Compensation Slope:
2% / °C
(options include 0 to 9.9 %/°C)
•
Concentration Table (10 Points Capability):
Point 1 is (0 µS/cm, 0%), Point 2 is (20,000µS/cm, 99.99%)
When configuration information is changed in a DataStick, the information remains with the DataStick. If a new sensor head
is installed, the configuration will remain as programmed by the user. It will not revert to default values.
Calibration options for the toroidal conductivity sensor are:
•
1-point Sample Calibration: Desired reading is entered for one sample to adjust measurement offset.
•
Zero: Sets the zero point for the sensor in dry air. Be sure the sensor is clean and dry.
Calibration options for temperature are:
•
1-point Sample Calibration: Desired reading is entered for one sample to adjust measurement offset.

Configuration of Contacting Conductivity Sensors
The AquaComm™ CONFIGURE functions can be accessed from a pull-down menu that automatically changes based on the sensor type
connected to the DataStick. When a conductivity sensor is connected, settings for data filters, units of measure, reference temperature,
temperature compensation and concentration tables can be viewed or changed. It is also possible to manually adjust the cell constant of
the connected sensor if a user guide adjustment of the measure value is desired. It is best to view the adjusted cell constant after
performing a 1-point sample calibration.
