Connecting the Syringe to the Union Tee
Use red PEEK tubing and fingertight fittings with ferrules to connect the syringe to the LC
union Tee.

To connect the syringe to the LC union Tee
1. Set up the syringe as described in “Setting Up the Syringe” on page 44 .
2. Using a fingertight fitting and a ferrule, connect a red PEEK infusion line to the free end
of the LC union that is connected to the syringe.
3. Using a fingertight fitting and a ferrule, connect the other end of the red PEEK infusion
line to the union Tee.
Figure 28 shows the fittings required to connect the LC union to the union Tee.
