Alignment
When the prosthesis is assembled, the
load line of the socket should run through
the area located between the center of
the superior anterior axis and the front
edge of the joint‘s axle bolt (bandwidth
about 5mm). The closer the load line is
moved to the center of the axle bolt, the
stronger are the effects of stance flexion
during heel strike.
Static Fitting
Upon delivery, every joint is set
to a basic setting.
Ask the patient to stand up. Remain close,
so you can support the patient if necessary.
Individually adjust all components until
the patient is able to stand securely.

the section “Dynamic Fitting”.
