Alignment
The alignment of the KnieAgil® WKL10
should be based on the TKA line. The front,
top center of the axis usually serves as the
reference point for the alignment.
Static Fitting
Upon delivery, every joint is set to
a basic setting.
Ask the patient to stand up. Remain close,
so you can support the patient if necessary.
Adjust the components individually, until the
patient is able to stand securely. Different
adjustment options are described in the
section „Dynamic Fitting“.
Dynamic Fitting
The KnieAgil® WKL10 is equipped with a
manual lock which can be released both
temporarily and permanently. The lock can
be temporarily released with the cable
(delivery status). If the user‘s physical
fitness improves permanently, the lock
can also be deactivated permanently, and
the cable may be removed.
Permanent Deactivation of Lock
To permanently deactivate the lock, open the
lock and tighten the Allen screws to the left
and right of the lock while the lock is open.
