1.6. Add OLT to Panorama PON
Adding the OLT to Panorama PON
After the OLT has been initially configured (or turned up) it can be added to the Tellabs
Panorama PON element management system (Panorama). Panorama is a graphical
user interface (GUI) that provides end-to-end management of the Optical LAN.
Panorama simplifies LAN management by providing:

Centralized intelligence
·
Management of the OLT, optical network terminals (ONT) and subtended
devices.
·
Discovery and end-to-end network views for quick actions
·
Automation to speed provisioning and moves, adds and changes
·
Consistency to reduce error and LAN downtime
·
Portability across managed LANs
To add the OLT to Panorama:

Launch the
Add OLAN OLT Wizard
from the Main Menu by selecting
Tools
>
Wizard
>
Add OLAN OLT
